![]() Jiraiya quietly leaves the inside of the toad, and returns to the surface. Fukasaku says that Shima can do that task, he will accompany him back. He also asks Fukasaku to tell Tsunade something, but he is interrupted. He asks them to return to Konoha and tell all the gathered information, including the body of the defeated Pain. But Jiraiya refuses, there won't be a better chance to discover Pain's identity and how he controls each body. Fukasaku and Shima opposes because he will be killed, they suggest him to retreat and escape now that he can. Then, he decides to return to the battlefield to confirm his suspicions. But when the headband from the defeated body falls, Jiraiya sees a scar on the forehead, and recognizes the same man he fought against in a forest, while looking for a pupil. He realizes that Pain actually was Nagato because on a previous conversation he recalled how he grew thanks to the pain (he remembers their talk after Nagato accidentally killed a man to protect Yahiko). Jiraiya is seriously wounded, but analyzes the situation. Turns out that while being stabbed with a black steel, his chakra was disturbed, so Fukasaku takes it off. There, he defeats him but not before being stabbed on his arm and right side. He takes advantage of the situation, and drags one of the six Pains (the first one) under water, to the inside of a toad. He manages to reach the Pain Yahiko, demanding answers, but he is hitted and sent underwater. Then, the Pains start their attack, and Jiraiya dodges them. Fukasaku and Shima don't understand what's happening either, as Jiraiya tells them that only Nagato had the Rinnegan. Pain says that he's glad his sensei remembers the face of his students, but still confirms Yahiko's death, and that now only exists Pain. He has no doubt that he is Yahiko, but he has the Rinnegan from Nagato. Now he is confused because Pain said before that Yahiko died years ago. Back at Amegakure, Jiraiya is confronted by the six Pains, and questions the one who looks like Yahiko. She promises to change his point of view when he returns. When she leaves, Tsunade thinks about his words, that "rejection makes a man stronger" and that "men shouldn't look for things like happiness". Shizune says that Jiraiya is going to be fine, and the Hokage tells her the bet she made with him. The episode begins with Tsunade in office, staring at the rain through the window. The soundtrack, cinematography, the details, the writing and dialogues, everything was stunning. Excellent storyline, the most Brilliant ending for an arc, and Jiraiya. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() He decides to bring peace with unity and friendship. After Naruto defeats pain Naruto forms his idealogy he decides to take the whole world's pain on himself he wants to burden everything to himself for the sake of peace. That's when we see a character defying moment from Naruto we see Narutos hypocrisy, Naruto tells pain you can't fight hate with hate but then relies on kurma to fight pain (a beast of hatred ) We see Naruto prove pains philosophy. After Pain tells Naruto his ideology, Naruto is left speechless and tells pain you can't fight hate with hate. But we see Naruto not have his own idealogy for peace and a way to break the cycle of hatred. He believes humans can build connections if they all face the same pain. People won't fight each other anymore and peace will come. Pain believes the world is stuck in a cycle of hatred this is where his philosophy is born he believes if everyone were to experience the same destruction and loss. Naruto and Nagato both wish to bring peace. Inspired by Nagato will this is symbolic to Nagato and Narutos parallel and brings a subtle meaning to their parallel. Amazing Char conclusion for jiraya we see subtle but very thought provoking conclusion, his last words being "The tale of Naruto Uzamaki" Him giving his sequel a name on a tale of a ninja name Naruto who seeks to bring peace to the corrupted shinobi world. ![]()
